Thomas completed his Bachelor of Laws at the Open University and obtained his Master of Law degree at the University of Indonesia. Before deciding to establish TRION LAW FIRM with his colleagues, Thomas had experience working as Operations Manager and Human Resources & Legal Manager in several national companies.

In addition, Thomas previously joined the Ginka Law Firm and was involved in handling cases of Criminal Law, Civil Law, Agrarian Law and Employment Law. The cases handled by Thomas are the criminal case of public figure Cynthiara Alona, employment case of SPPTKI, the state administration case related to the procurement of goods/ services for the Papua regional government, as well as various other cases.

Thomas is also actively teaching as an in-house trainer regarding drafting and reviewing contracts for employees of the regional drinking water company (PDAM) and is presented as an Expert for the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology (Kominfo) regarding his expertise as a contract drafter for Government to Government (G2G) procurement contracts and Government to Business (G2B) contracts.

Thomas is currently registered as a member of the Indonesian Advocates Association (PERADI), also has certification as a Certified Contract Drafter issued by the Association of Indonesian Contract Law Experts (PAHKI), and Certified Human Resources Professional issued by Atma Jaya Catholic University. Thomas also has the license as Tax Attorney issued Ministry of Finance.
